about us > QG philosophy
Our Business Philosophy
How a consultant approaches the task of consulting is a key
issue for clients.
At QG we are guided by the following principles:
- Client confidentiality and business ethics
are our first priority.
- We provide high-level
consulting:clients will never have your work
performed by anonymous "juniors".
- We provide excellent communications.
Our reports will make sense to non-specialists, with full
technical details as appendices (to enable full auditing
of our work).
- We are guided by good
geology and science. We choose approaches on the
basis of quantifiable testing, and we select methods according
to the deposit. QG will never try to tell you one method
works everywhere. We do not believe in "proprietary
algorithms". We work
in an open manner, providing fully disclosed details
of our methodologies. When you find a generic orebody, we'll
propose a generic solution.
- We work as a team within
your group, and have the objective of "clicking
into" company teams. 'Isolated consulting' is not
the best use of your budget.
- We focus on
skills transfer.
At the end of every contact with QG you should feel more
competent in managing your resource issues, not
less.
