QG have consulting staff with dual skills: geostatistics and mine geology. This combination enables us to provide more relevant and focused geostatistical and resource evaluation consulting, but it also enables QG to do the following:
  • Evaluate and review geological logging, mapping and interpretations as inputs to resource estimation

  • In particular review domaining decisions from both geological and geostatistical (stationarity) viewpoints

  • Assist with procedures and guidelines in the area of resource geology

  • Provide Geological managers with peer-review of strategic geological inputs and developed processes/strategies

  • Evaluate geological risk (and the links to resource classification) in the context of JORC

  • Link conditional simulation to geological risk

  • Mentoring of resource geologists at all levels and attendant training and knowledge transfer
QG's geologically trained consultants (and their geology qualifications) are: Our forte is linking geology and geostatistics and working closely with client technical teams. Click here for client list.
